This topic lists the communication and event types archived by the Capture Mobile app for Enterprise Number Capture.
Enterprise Number Capture communications are exchanged either as IP messages between Capture Mobile app users, or as SMS/MMS with recipients who do not have the app. Both are archived.
One-to-One Incoming and Outgoing Messages

Calls and Voicemail
Enterprise Number Capture supports IP calls with users who have the Capture Mobile app and PSTN calls with users who do not. Calls are automatically recorded and archived. See Managing Calls.

Deferred and Delayed Archiving

Message Status
The app displays the following statuses for sent messages: Sending, Sent, Delivered, Read, Failed, and Expired. Read status is supported only for IP messages and not for SMS.

Signature | Signature text and mode can be set for each user. The signature text can include up to 2000 English characters. Mode can be set to: Always, First outgoing message in a thread, or Daily. Not supported for location, contact, and audio clip media types. |
Auto-reply | The auto-reply message can have a maximum of 1,460 characters. The schedule can be set to Always send, Outside of business hours, or Custom schedule, and recipients to Everyone, Company contacts list, or Not in the company contacts. |
BYOK | All captured messages flowing between the app and the router are encrypted at multiple layers. By default, the Standard System Encryption is available to all customers. The BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) encryption is a premium feature that is available as an add-on purchase. |
Suspend/Delete user | Suspended or deleted users are automatically signed out of the app within 30 minutes of the status change. |
Backup/Restore | Two weeks of chat history automatically syncs from the Capture Mobile cloud on re-installation. Local backup is not supported. |
Number porting and hosted messaging | With hosted messaging, text messaging is routed to the Capture Mobile enterprise number and archived, while voice calls continue through the original provider. See Number Porting and Hosted Messaging. |
