If you change your mobile number, you can preserve all your WhatsApp content on WhatsApp Phone Capture. To preserve you WhatsApp content:
Ensure that your new number is able to receive SMS and calls, or a forwarding rule is set.
Notify your new number to your Administrator who will in turn inform their Smarsh Account Manager.
You will be notified after Smarsh adds your new phone number in Capture Mobile.
Transfer to your new number WhatsApp Phone Capture. A notification is displayed after the successful change.
Post the number change, multiple events are archived to indicate that the old number has left groups(s) and the new number has joined the group(s):
