The following enhancements are introduced to the Admin Portal in this release:
Logging in to the Admin Portal now uses a new sign-in flow that incorporates mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) to enhance security. To log in to the latest version of the Admin Portal, it is mandatory for you to reset your password. For more information, see Logging In To The Admin Portal.
Capture Mobile is enhanced to display real-time Verizon provisioning and deprovisioning status through a progress bar in the Network Status pop-up. Retry Provisioning and Request Deprovisioning buttons can be conditionally enabled based on status, with a 24-hour cooldown period after each action. For more information, see Monitoring Verizon Provisioning Status.

The following enhancements are introduced to the Admin Portal in this release:
The Admin Portal now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) for logging in. Contact your Smarsh representative to configure your organization's SSO to log in to the Admin Portal. For more information, see Logging in to the Admin Portal using SSO.
The Standard Tier admins can now create customized Daily Reports to receive key insights directly in your inbox every day. These reports track essential data, such as user activity, messages, calls, and network performance over the past 24 hours, tailored to your business needs. You can also edit, delete, activate, and deactivate these reports, as well as manage distribution lists to ensure the right recipients receive the reports. For more information, see Daily Reports.
The My Contacts, Global Contacts, and Message Query left-menu items are displayed on the Admin Portal only when the admin:
Has at least one archive plan with Mobile Capture as the source.
Does not have any archive plans.
Capture Mobile now supports the ability to clear email addresses in bulk by entering [CLEAR] (case-insensitive) in the Email column of the update file. This feature enables efficient removal of email addresses without manually editing each user profile.
A new column Unique Customer Code is introduced to the User Management table. The Unique Customer Code is a customizable field that allows you to categorize or tag users according to your needs. By default, this column is hidden. Contact your Smarsh representative to enable this column.
The colors of the banner and buttons on the Admin Portal are updated to align with Smarsh's branding.

The Admin Portal is enhanced to support bulk user updates and deletions using an Excel or CSV file. The Bulk Actions menu on the User Management page now includes the options to add, update, and delete multiple users simultaneously.

Note
The Import Users functionality used to add multiple users at a time is now available as Add Users under Bulk Actions.

In this release, the following enhancements are introduced in the Admin Portal to improve the management and user experience for Sub Managers:
A dedicated profile page is added for Sub Managers, allowing them to highlight their position and manage their personal information. Sub Managers can quickly access their profile page by clicking on My Profile from the Admin Portal or their username in the User Management table, where they can view and edit their personal details.

Sub Managers can now see their user information listed in the User Management table, ensuring they are counted as active users of the company.

Sub Managers can now view their first and last name in the top-right corner of the Admin Portal, next to the profile icon. This enhancement makes it easier for them to identify and manage their company user profile.

As a Pro Manager, Sub Manager, or Pro User with Sub Manager check, the Company Name is now displayed in the Admin Portal. This feature helps Sub Managers easily identify which company users they are managing.

Pro Managers will now see the service level of Sub Managers in the User Management table, making it easier to identify and manage the roles of Sub Managers within the company.
The Admin Portal is enhanced to display a progress bar when loading large number of users from an Excel or CSV file. The progress bar shows the percentage of users loaded and the estimated time remaining. This allows the admins to continue working on the portal while the loading process runs in the background.
Note
You can import a maximum of 2,500 users per file.
A new Knowledge Center Bot is introduced in the Admin Portal, providing quick access to essential resources such as Product Documentation, Release Notes, the Status Page, and more. This bot also offers on-demand guidance, enabling administrators to explore and understand product features directly within the application. Additionally, the portal now includes enhanced tooltips in the User Management, Archive Management, and Mailing List modules, offering overviews and in-app tours to highlight the features available in each module.

A new section Mailing Lists is added to the Admin portal. This section allows admins to add and manage email addresses for subscribing to critical notifications from Capture Mobile.

For more information, see Managing Mailing Lists.The User Management page is enhanced to display relevant columns based on the source(s) of the archive plans assigned to the admin. For example:
The Enterprise Number column appears if at least one user in the assigned archive plans has an enterprise number.
The columns for the chat and mobile IM apps such as WhatsApp, Telegram, and Signal appear if any user in the assigned archive plans has these apps as a source.
The Network and Network Status columns appears if at least one user in the assigned archive plans uses Network Carrier Capture as a source.
By default, the Archive Management section is visible to both new and existing admins.

The Admin Portal login details shared by Smarsh through email and SMS during first login is enhanced to include the username and a link to reset your password.
When the user list is exported from the User Management page, the Last Archive column now shows the date and time of the most recent message archived for each product assigned to the user. For more information on exporting user list, see Managing Users.

The password reset feature is enhanced to accept users' registered phone number. When users enter their registered phone number, the password reset link is sent as an SMS.

Capture Mobile now supports exporting data in EML format to an SFTP destination, in addition to the previously supported CSV format. The ZIP file delivered to the SFTP destination contains these EML files, along with their attachments, and a manifest file (.mf) for reference.

A new setting is added to designate an archiving user as a Sub Manager. Sub Managers will have access to the Admin Portal, allowing them to manage users and generate reports.
Capture Mobile is enhanced to support exporting data to an SFTP destination. The exported data includes a CSV file containing text messages and a folder with the attached media (documents, pictures, and voice notes). All data is delivered as a Zip file to the SFTP destination.
The User Management page is enhanced to display the user status as Dormant for all applications if a user is inactive on an application for more than 90 days. Hover over Dormant to view additional information in the format “User last engagement date and time: DD/MM/YYYY, HH:MM:SS”.

CHANGED
When archiving data from Capture Mobile, Android Capture, and Network Carrier Capture in the threaded view, the archive subject is modified to
Communications - [User X] and [User Y] - Month Day, Year. This change applies to archived threads containing a mix of SMS, MMS, and calls data, and exported to Generic SMTP or Smarsh SMTP destinations.

A new section Archive Management is added to the Admin portal. This section displays the archive plans assigned to an admin. Admins can manage their assigned archive plans by assigning and unassigning users.

The following enhancements are made to the User Management page on the Admin Portal:
The tooltip for the Last Archived column is enhanced to display the following information:
All products a user is assigned to archive communication.
The date and time at which the last message from each product was archived.
The list is sorted in the descending order of the last archived time.

When the admin clicks a Username to view the user details:
The version number for Enterprise Archive / Secure Messaging is the latest version installed on the user's device.
The version number is blank for applications not installed by the user.
