Set Up Your Account

Applicable to End Users

After you install Telegram Capture, set up your account to register your number and use the app.

Important

Ensure that you have installed the native Telegram app to receive the verification code.

To set up your account:

1. Open the CM for TLGRM app.

2. Tap Start Messaging.

   

3. Enter your phone number with the country code and tap  .

   

   A one-time code is sent to your phone number.

4. Enter the alphanumeric code and tap Activate to activate your account.

   

5. Confirm if the phone number is correct and tap Yes.

   

   A verification code is sent to your native Telegram app.

6. Enter the code received on the native Telegram app.

   

   The app requests permission to send notifications.

7. Tap Allow.

   

The Telegram Capture Home screen is displayed. You have successfully set up your account.
