Overview
Smarsh has introduced several key security enhancements in WhatsApp Phone Capture for Android and iOS. These security enhancements reinforce data protection, mitigate cybersecurity risks, and further align with industry-standards. The current version of the application is not compatible with the new security enhancements. As a result, you are required to upgrade to the latest version of the application at the earliest. The upgrade ensure there is no data loss and all chat history is retained.

Users who do not upgrade to the latest version of the app may experience unexpected behavior, as the current version is not aligned with the updated security policy.
If users are cannot receive SMS or email messages at the address registered with Capture Mobile, administrators must contact Smarsh Support before deploying the latest version of the app.
