Smarsh has introduced several key security enhancements in Android Capture. These security enhancements reinforce data protection, mitigate cybersecurity risks, and further align with industry-standards. The current version of the application is not compatible with the new security enhancements. As a result, you are required to upgrade to the latest version of the application at the earliest. The upgrade ensure there is no data loss and all chat history is retained.
Important
Upgrading the application to include the new security enhancements is a one-time action. All future upgrades or installations follow the standard procedure outlined in the product documentation.
Users who do not upgrade to the latest version of the app may experience unexpected behavior, as the current version is not aligned with the updated security policy.
If users cannot receive SMS or email messages at the address registered with Capture Mobile, administrators must contact Smarsh Support before deploying the latest version of the app.
