This document outlines the steps for adding external users by scanning QR code.
Adding WeCom User from WeChat App
To add a WeCom user from your WeChat app:
Open the WeChat app on your device.
Tap the Me icon at the bottom right corner of the screen.

Select My Profile.
Locate and tap My QR Code.
Share your QR code using any of the following ways:
Take a screenshot and send it to the WeCom user through email or any other messaging platform.
Save the QR code image to your device and share it with the WeCom user.
Adding WeChat User from WeCom App
To add a WeChat user from your WeCom app:
Open the WeCom app on your device.
Locate the Contacts section within the app and add contacts.
Utilize the phone's camera to scan the customer's QR code you received through email or another method.
Use Case: WeChat User Sending QR Code to WeCom User
Consider an example, where a WeChat user Mark Smith sends his QR code to WeCom user Alex Cooper. However, the process works vice versa as well, with the user scanning the WeCom user's QR code.
To send the QR code to Alex, Mark Smith follows the below steps:
Opens the WeChat app.
Navigates to the profile section and click on his profile photo.

Once QR code is displayed, sends the QR code image to Alex through any messaging platform.
Alex Cooper scans Mark Smith's QR code received through email or any through any other method by clicking My Customers.

In the My Customers screen, clicks Add Now.

In the Add Customer screen, clicks Scan QR Code.

The QR code is displayed.Scans the QR code.

Clicks Add as contact.

Clicks Send application.

In the Mark Smith's WeChat app, if the notification is dismissed by Mark Smith, to view the pending invitations, navigate to Contacts > New Friends.

Click Accept corresponding to the Alex Cooper.

In the Confirm Friend Request screen, click Done.

You can send message or call a video or voice call.
