Capture Method

Direct capture from the native WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business apps with full support for WhatsApp native features.

Capture messages from a Smarsh custom messaging app (Capture Mobile).

Limitations are driven by the WhatsApp Business API restrictions.

Parallel WhatsApp Business Deployment

During migration from WhatsApp Phone Capture or WhatsApp Cloud Capture to Capture Mobile for WhatsApp Business, both solutions can be used concurrently.

As long as WhatsApp Phone Capture or WhatsApp Cloud Capture remains active and within its supported baseline version, users may install the Capture Mobile app and establish a connection to WhatsApp Business. Users can choose to continue using WhatsApp Phone or Cloud Capture until the baseline version expires, or discontinue usage and uninstall the applications at any point.
