Applicable to End Users
The Contacts screen of the application displays all contacts from the user's mobile device. Users can access contacts from both their mobile device’s global and local directories. Global contacts are contacts of employees across the organization. This includes colleagues and clients.
Local contacts are personal contacts from you mobile phone.
Contacts are sorted by first name or last name according to the users’ settings. Global and local contacts which share phone numbers are automatically merged into a single contact.
The app also shows which contacts in the list do not have Capture Mobile app installed, making it easier to identify who can receive messages through the app and who needs to be contacted through other means.

Identifying Internal vs. Private Contacts
To help you clearly understand the context of your interactions, the Capture Mobile app provides a visual indicator to differentiate between contacts from your company address book and your private contacts.
Internal Contacts: Any contact belonging to your company’s internal directory will now display a turquoise int. label next to their name.
Private Contacts: Contacts saved in your personal address book or external numbers will not have this label.
The int. indicator is visible across most screens where a contact name appears, including:
Chats Screen: Next to the name in your active conversation list.

Contacts List: When scrolling through your directory.

Composer and Calls: When starting a new message or viewing your call history.
Contact Info: At the top of the individual’s profile page.
