The Tencent WeCom app provides users with periodic updates and information, including Industry News. You can customize the content delivered to your employees, and even disable Industry News entirely. While Capture Mobile can archive WeCom chats and calls, Industry News updates are not included in this archiving.
Prerequisites: You must have WeCom administrator access.
To disable Industry News:
Login to the WeCom Company Admin.
In the left menu, select Apps.
From the top menu, choose App Management.
Locate and click on Industry News.
Locate the Industry News toggle within the app settings.
Toggle the switch to the Disabled position.
In addition to company-wide control, individual WeCom users can also manage their Industry News settings:
In the WeCom app, locate and tap on Industry News.
In the window that opens, find the option to toggle off Receive Industry News.
Mainland China users can click three horizontal dots on top-right corner of the app.x
