Deactivating a Telegram Capture Account

To deactivate a CM for TLGRM account:

Note

• If the user is using CM for TLGRM with an Enterprise Number, you must delete the Telegram Capture account before releasing the associated Enterprise Number.

• The customer must deactivate the CM for TLGRM account before releasing the Enterprise Number.

1. Navigate to https://my.telegram.org/auth?to=delete-account

2. In the Your Phone Number box, enter the phone number of the account that you want to deactivate.

   

   Note

   You must enter the phone number in the international format.

3. Click Next.

   A verification code is sent to the CM for TLGRM app.

4. Enter the code in the Confirmation code box.

   

5. Click Sign In.

   The Your Telegram Core screen appears.

6. Click Delete account.

   

7. Enter the reason for deactivating the account and click Delete My Account.

   

   A warning message is displayed.

8. Click Yes, delete my account.

   

   Your account is deleted and a confirmation message is displayed.

   

9. Share details of the deactivated CM for TLGRM account with your Smarsh representative to delete the account from Capture Mobile.
