You can star messages to mark them as important.
Starred Messages in iOS
Open a chat conversation. The messages are displayed in thread view.
Initiate a long-press on a message to star the message.
Tap the Star icon.
The message is marked as star.
To view the starred messages, tap the star icon in the Chats window.
All starred messages are displayed.
