Applicable to End Users
The share extension feature allows you to share media, documents, or links using Secure Mobile Capture while being outside the application.
Open or select the file to share on any application such as camera roll, browser, or another messenger.
Tap the share icon
.Choose Secure Mobile Capture from the default application list or tap More and choose the app from the list of applications.
In Secure Mobile Capture, select the chat thread or contact to share the file.
The files are attached and sent to the selected chat thread or a contact from the Contacts list.
Limitations
The following limitations are observed with the share extension feature:
You can share extensions with a maximum of three recipients.
When you tap Cancel while sending multiple files, sending the next attachment is canceled. The one is progress is sent to the selected chat thread.
Files shared are archived when the employee opens the application.
You can share files up to 25 MB.
You can share up to ten images and five videos at a time.
Currently, you cannot share files to multiple chat threads.
Signature is not included when a file is shared as an extension. However, the next message in the chat thread will include the signature.
