Voice Call Capture ⬝ Security Settings

You can secure your authentication to Voice Call Capture through one of the following features:

  • 6-digit PIN code

  • Security question (hint)

  • Touch ID or Face ID (for iOS) and Fingerprint (for Android)

  • Screen lock delay

When you enable security settings for Voice Call Capture, the 6-digit PIN code is the primary authentication technique. When you enable the 6-digit PIN, the security question is also mandatory. You can use either of these options while authenticating the app. However, setting the Touch ID or Face ID, and fingerprint for authentication and the screen lock delay are optional.

To enable security settings:

  1. Tap Settings > Security.

  2. Set the 6-digit PIN code to secure your application:

    1. Tap six digits in a sequence of your choice to set your PIN code.

    2. Tap the six digit sequence again to confirm your PIN code.

      Note

      You can tap the x icon to clear what you have tapped.

  3. Select your security question or hint.

  4. In the Set Hint screen, provide an answer to the selected question and save your answer.

    Important

    The answer to your security question is case-sensitive.


  5. You are prompted to set fingerprint authentication.

  6. Tap OK to also enable fingerprint authentication.

  7. Touch the fingerprint sensor on your mobile phone to allow the app capture your fingerprint.

The Security configuration page is displayed. Here, you can:

  • Disable the PIN code and fingerprint authentication.

  • Change the PIN code

  • Change the security question (hint)

  • Set the screen lock delay to secure access timeout for the app. You can select from a duration between 15 seconds and 30 minutes. When you enable screen lock delay, your access to the application times out, and you are locked out of the app after the set duration. You must unlock the app to continue using it.
