You can reply to individual messages in a thread.
Open a chat conversation. The messages are displayed in thread view.
Hover the mouse pointer over the message you want to reply.
Click on the arrow icon that appears to the right of the message.
Click Reply. A reply message window opens with the original message in the reply.
Type your message and click Send.
