    2. Log in with your Smarsh account number, corporate or enterprise number, in the native application.

  2. Install WhatsApp Phone Capture:

    1. Install the TM WPA app.

    2. Open the app and enter your Smarsh account number.

    3. Retrieve the 6-digit code (OTP) sent to the native WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business.

      Note

      • In rare scenarios, the 6-digit code (OTP) might be sent as an SMS.

      • This process ensures an uninterrupted login experience, minimizing disruptions caused by blocking screens such as "1-hour loop" or "Login not available right now."

          • Use the code to complete your setup in TM WPA.

  3. After you are successfully logged in, ensure to follow the Best Practices to Establish Communication. Do not immediately start outgoing communications.

To minimize disruptions and ensure seamless account set up, follow the below guidelines when setting up a communication in TM WPA. These precautions will help reduce the chances of triggering an anti-spam or anti-abuse alert.

  • Start with Receiving Messages:
After switching to the TM WPA app (also known as bouncing), avoid sending outgoing messages immediately. Instead, receive several messages or calls in a 1:1 thread with one of your contacts to establish a stable connection.

  • Update Profile picture:
Add a profile picture and set your Nickname.

  • Avoid Creating Groups or Broadcasts:
Do not create groups or send broadcast messages within the first 48 hours of setting up your account.

  • Refrain from Using WhatsApp Web or Desktop:
Avoid connecting to WhatsApp Web or the WhatsApp Desktop app during the first 48 hours of setting up your account.

  • Limit Messages to Known Contacts:
For the first 48 hours, do not send messages to contacts who might not have your number saved in their contact list.
