This topic lists the limitations in Capture Mobile for WhatsApp Business due to limitations from Meta:

  • A WhatsApp Business user must begin a conversation with a customer using a Meta-approved template.

  • Each conversation session is active for 24 hours from the time a message or reply is received from the customer. After 24 hours, users cannot send text messages to customers and must initiate a conversation using the Meta-approved templates.

    Note

    Users must activate inactive conversations using the Meta-approved templates.

  • All users managed under a single manager communicate with customers using the manager’s Company Enterprise Number.

  • Delete for Everyone feature is not supported.

  • Users cannot send files exceeding 25 MB to customers.

  • Not all media formats supported on WhatsApp are archived by Capture Mobile for WhatsApp Business. Unsupported media files are displayed as a system notification in the chat.

  • WhatsApp enforces messaging limits based on account quality and usage patterns. High message volumes may result in throttling.
