Teams Phone Mobile Capture is an integrated solution designed to securely capture and archive native mobile voice calls made using Teams Phone Mobile without requiring users to install a separate app on their phones or computers. This technology leverages Smarsh Call Recording and Analytics (CR&A) as the recording and transcription engine and integrates tightly with the Capture Mobile Archive Router.
When combined with optional SMS/MMS capture (supported only for few carriers), Teams Phone Mobile Capture enables a fully recorded mobile communication experience, covering both voice calls and text messages.
Overview
Teams Phone Mobile Capture supports both corporate and personal mobile phones enabled with Teams Phone Mobile, allowing native mobile voice calls to be recorded, transcribed, and archived in near real time.
In addition to voice call capture, the solution can optionally support SMS/MMS capture through direct carrier network integration, where available and supported. Together, native call capture and optional SMS/MMS capture help organizations meet regulatory and compliance requirements for mobile communications.
The solution offers seamless onboarding, high scalability, and enterprise-grade compliance by securely routing captured communications through the Capture Mobile Archive Router to supported enterprise and professional archive destinations.
