Attaching Files

You can share the following files as attachments on WebChat:

In a WhatsApp chat, you can attach files only during an active session. For more information, see Sending a Message.

• Documents

• Images

• Videos

• Contacts

Attaching Documents

To attach documents:

1. Start a new chat, or open an existing conversation or group chat.

2. Click the attachment icon.

3. Click Document.
   

4. Choose the document which you want to attach.

5. (Optional) Add a caption or required text.

6. Click the Send icon.
   The attachment is shared.

Attaching Images or Videos

To attach a image or a video:

1. Start a new chat, or open an existing conversation or group chat.

2. Click the attachment icon.

3. Click Image or Video.

4. Choose the photo or video which you want to attach.

5. Click the Send icon.
   The image or video is shared.

Attaching Contacts

To attach a image or a video:

1. Start a new chat, or open an existing conversation or group chat.

2. Click the attachment icon.

3. Click Contacts.

4. Choose the Contact which you want to attach.

5. Click the Send icon.
   The image or video is shared.
