Before onboarding and provisioning users to archive communication, ensure that you meet the following conditions:
You have a business or enterprise account with Verizon.
You can log in to Verizon's Business Portal.
You have an Enterprise Customer Profile Database (ECPD) profile set up with Verizon.
You have chosen designated archive accounts linked to your ECPD profile.
You have enabled SMS and MMS features on employee devices.
You have agreed to Verizon's terms and conditions to access archived messages.
You have enabled a Mobile Directory Number (MDN) for the message archive service, both text (SMS) and picture (MMS) messaging features must be turned on for that number.
The service is for use only with your approved accounts and for customer liable MDNs.
You have removed any messaging blocks on all MDNs that you want to set up for message capture.
Note
All MDNs in your organization's account will receive opt-ins, even if there is an SMS or MMS block. However, message archiving on those phones won't start until the block is removed. If you only want to archive specific lines, inform your account manager before your account onboarding begins.
Enhanced messaging services such as iMessage on iPhone devices and Rich Communication Services (RCS) on android devices are disabled for message archiving.
