This section details limitations associated with archiving WeChat communication using WeChat Capture and the underlying WeChat/Tencent capture API/service.
Unsupported Archiving:
Meetings: Group video or voice calls are not captured by TeleMessage.
Money Transfer: Financial transactions made through WeChat Pay are not captured.
Partial Archiving or Functionality:
Video Calls: Only the audio portion is archived for video calls. Companies can choose to block video calls entirely for employees if desired.
Shared Contacts: When WeChat contacts are shared within chats, TeleMessage captures the Tencent contact ID instead of names, phone numbers, or email addresses.
Shared Tencent Cloud Content: Links to the content on Tencent's storage platform are archived instead of the content itself.
