In a chat thread, you can select messages to be deleted.
To delete a message:
Open a chat conversation. The messages are displayed in thread view.
Hover the mouse pointer over the message you want to delete.
Click on the arrow icon that appears to the right of the message.
Click Delete.
The message is deleted from the chat conversation.
