Prerequisites: Ensure that the following prerequisites are met:

  • The user is defined in the Azure AD tenant.

  • The user has the Microsoft E5 license.Microsoft 365 E5 license management interface showing assigned licenses and user details.

  • A phone number is assigned to the user.

  • The correct country is assigned to the number.

  • The user is added to CallCabinetRecordingGroup

To configure MS Azure and MS Teams Admin for Teams Phone Mobile Capture:

  1. Log in to the Microsoft Teams admin centre at https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/phone-numbers.

  2. Assign the phone number to the UPN.

  3. Set up Teams Phone Mobile by following the steps mentioned in the Prerequisites section and contact your Smarsh representative to define the source as Teams Capture.
