• The authentication mechanism during sign-in is enhanced to improve account security.

• Sending  logs to Smarsh support for technical issues with the app is enhanced  with improved security measures. Users can send logs from within the app  by navigating to Settings > Send logs to TeleMessage.

• The minimum Android version required for Telegram Capture is Android 10.

• Security enhancements are introduced to enhance data protection and further align with industry-standards. Users must upgrade to the latest version as the current version is not compatible with the new security enhancements. In this version, the option for Telegram Archiver users to hide their phone number is disabled. This ensures that the user information is always available in the archived Telegram chats. According to this enhancement:

• When a new user installs Telegram Archiver, by default, the option Who can see my phone number under Settings > Privacy and Security > Phone Number is set to Everybody. The Add exception section is removed, and this setting cannot be changed.

• When a user upgrades to the latest version, the previous setting is reset as described in the below table. Additionally, the Add exception section is removed, and the new setting cannot be changed.
