Creating a Daily Report

If you are subscribed to the Standard Tier, you can create a Daily Report to receive key insights delivered straight to your inbox every day. This report helps track essential data, such as user activity, messages, calls, and network performance over the last 24 hours, tailored to your business needs.

Note

If you already have an existing report, the Create New Report button is disabled (grayed out), and a tooltip appears:

To create daily report:

  1. On the Capture Mobile Admin Portal, click Reports.

  2. On the Reports page, click Daily Report.

  3. Click Create New Report.

  4. On the Create New User Daily Usage Report wizard, perform the following:

    1. Report Name: Enter the name for your report. Ensure that the report name does not exceed 50 characters.

    2. Recipients: Enter the email addresses of the recipients to whom you want to send the report. You can enter a maximum of 50 recipients, and each email address should not exceed 50 characters. If you have already created a distribution list, the email addresses are prepopulated.

    3. From the Daily Usage Report Columns section, select the columns you want to see in your report:

      To enable all columns at once, click Select All. To clear all selections, click Unselect All.

      1. From the Cellular Network & Apps section, select the data you want to track by toggling the switches to On (for example, Enterprise Number Capture, WhatsApp Phone Capture, Telegram Capture). 

      2. From the User Details section, select the data you want to track by toggling the switches to On. You can select any or all of the user details:

        User Details

        Description

        User ID

        The unique user ID in the system.

        First Name

        The user's first name.

        Last Name

        The user's last name.

        Full Name

        The full name combining first and last names.

        Username

        The user's system username.

        Manager Username

        The manager's username in the system.

        Mobile Number

        The user's mobile number.

        Email

        The user's email address.

        Operating System

        The user's mobile operating system.

        Registration Date

        The date the user registered in the system.

      3. From the Account Details section, select the data you want to track by toggling the switches to On. There are different sections for networks and apps. These sections are displayed based on the app or network you have selected in the Cellular Network & App section.

        • Common for both networks and apps:

          Options

          Description

          Enterprise Number

          List of user's enterprise numbers separated by semicolons.

          Assigned Products

          List of products assigned to the user.

          Archiving Destination

          Archiving destination email address.

        • If you have selected networks:

          Options

          Description

          Network Provider

          The network type of the user.

          Last Archive(30 Days)

          Last date the user archived a message in the last 30 days.

          Last Archive(All Time)

          Last date the user archived a message without a time limit.

        • If you have selected apps:

          Options

          Description

          Last Activity

          The last date and time the user performed any action in the app.

          Last Archive (30 Days)

          The last time the user archived a message in the past 30 days.

          App Version

          The app version used by the user.

           

      4. From the Storage section, enable Storage Plan if you want to include the list of storage plan names assigned to a user in your report. If you have selected an app from the Cellular Network & Apps section, you can enable Missing Archive Permissions only if you want to include these in your report.

      5. From the Messages section, select the required options:

        • If you selected Apps from the Cellular Network & Apps section, you can choose any or all of the following options:

          Options

          Description

          Total Messages In

          Total number of incoming messages.

          Total Messages Out

          Total number of outgoing messages.

          Text Messages In (24 Hours)

          Total incoming messages in the last 24 hours (SMS, MMS, EVENT, APP_MESSAGE).

          Text Messages Out (24 Hours)

          Total outgoing messages in the last 24 hours (SMS, MMS, EVENT, APP_MESSAGE).

          Total Messages (24 Hours)

          Total incoming and outgoing messages in the last 24 hours (SMS, MMS, EVENT, APP_MESSAGE).

          IP Messages In

          Total incoming IP messages during the calculation period.

          IP Messages Out

          Total outgoing IP messages during the calculation period.

          SMS In

          Total incoming SMS messages during the calculation period.

          SMS Out

          Total outgoing SMS messages during the calculation period.

          MMS In

          Total incoming MMS messages during the calculation period.

          MMS Out

          Total outgoing MMS messages during the calculation period.

        • If you selected Networks from the Cellular Network & Apps section, you can choose any or all of the following options:

          Options

          Total Messages In

          Total number of incoming messages, including video calls, SMS, MMS, events, and app messages.

          Total Messages Out

          Total number of outgoing messages, including video calls, SMS, MMS, events, and app messages.

          Messages In (24 Hours)

          Total number of incoming messages in the last 24 hours, including SMS, MMS, events, and app messages.

          Messages Out (24 Hours)

          Total number of outgoing messages in the last 24 hours, including SMS, MMS, events, and app messages.

           

      6. From the Calls section, select the required options:

        • If you selected Apps from the Cellular Network & Apps section, you can choose any or all of the following options:

          Options

          Total Calls In

          Total incoming calls in the last 24 hours.

          Total Calls Out

          Total outgoing calls in the last 24 hours.

          Total Calls

          Total incoming and outgoing calls in the last 24 hours.

        • If you selected Networks from the  Cellular Network & Apps section, you can choose any or all of the following options:

          Options

          Total Calls In

          Total incoming calls in the last 24 hours.

          Total Calls Out

          Total outgoing calls in the last 24 hours.

           

    4. Click Create Report.
       
      The created report name is displayed on the Daily Report page.

Error Handling

  • If you try to enter an email address with more than 50 characters, the following error message is displayed:

  • If you enter the invalid email, the following error message is displayed:

  • If you enter more than 50 recipients, the following error message is displayed:

  • If you enter a duplicate email address, the system automatically removes the duplicate when you press Enter, without displaying an error message.
