Adding Emails for Subscription

Applicable to Administrators

As an admin, you have the ability to add user email addresses for Capture Mobile subscriptions. To add email addresses:

  1. Log in to the Admin Portal as an administrator.

  2. Click Mailing Lists.

  3. Add email addresses either individually or from a file.

Add Email Address Individually

  1. In the text box, enter the email address for subscription.

    Important

    • The email address entered must be in the format username@domain.

    • The email address must not:

      • Exceed 254 characters.

      • Begin with a special character.

      • Have spaces or unauthorized special characters.

    • The email domain must:

      • Have at least one period ( .)

      • Contain letters (a-z, A-Z), numbers (0-9), and hyphens (-).

      • Belong to the admin's allowed domains list.

  2. Select the Critical Notifications checkbox.

    Note

    • If you do not select the Critical Notifications checkbox, the Subscribe button is not enabled.

    • The Critical Notifications mailing list must have at least one email address.

  3. Click Subscribe.

If the entered email address is valid, it will be added for subscription and displayed in the Critical Notifications tab followed by the success message "username@domain was subscribed successfully."

If the email address is not valid, the following error message is displayed: "Invalid email address. Ensure it includes '@', has no spaces or special characters, and meets the length limit."

If the domain is not in the admin's allowed domains list, the following error message is displayed: “Error: The domain of this email address is not on the allowed list. Please contact the support team for assistance.”

You can add a maximum of 100 email addresses for subscription. When this limit is reached, the following message is displayed: “Subscription limit reached. Remove existing addresses to subscribe new email addresses.”

Add Email Addresses From a File

If you are adding email addresses for the first time:

  1. Click Download sample file.
    A sample Excel file is generated with the columns Email Address and Critical Notifications.

  2. In the Email Address column, enter the email address of the user(s).

    Important

    • The email address entered must be in the format username@domain.

    • The email address must not:

      • Exceed 254 characters.

      • Begin with a special character.

      • Have spaces or unauthorized special characters.

    • The email domain must:

      • Have at least one period ( .)

      • Contain letters (a-z, A-Z), numbers (0-9), and hyphens (-).

      • Belong to the admin's allowed domains list.

  3. In the Critical Notifications column:

    • To include an email address in a mailing list category, enter Y, Yes, or True in the respective column.

    • To exclude an email address from a mailing list category, enter N, No, or False in the respective column.

      Note

      • The value you enter in the Critical Notifications column is case-insensitive.

      • The Critical Notifications mailing list must have at least one email address.

  4. Save the file.

  5. Click Browse, select the saved Excel file, and click Open.

  6. Click Upload emails from file. The email addresses in the file are added for subscriptions in the mentioned categories.

To add email addresses for subscription from a file consecutively, you can update the existing file and then attach it. A summary of the email addresses added is displayed.
