Editing an existing dashboard in the Analytics portal allows you to customize visualizations, update filters, and reorganize the layout to better suit your evolving business needs. This flexibility ensures that dashboards remain relevant and actionable as data priorities change over time.
To edit a dashboard:
On the Analytics page, navigate to the My Dashboards tab and select the dashboard you want to edit. You can switch between dashboards using the carousel or dashboard list.
Click the Manage Dashboards button to open the dashboard management view where you can make changes.
Modify the dashboard based on your requirement.

Click Save As and click either of the following:
Dashboard: Save your changes to the current dashboard, updating its visuals, filters, and layout.
New Template: Save your configuration as a template, allowing you and other users to easily create new dashboards with the same structure and options in the future.

When you click New Template, you are redirected to the Dashboard Templates page. The edited dashboard is saved as a template and automatically appears in the list on the Dashboard Templates page. The edited dashboard is added as the last item in the list, and the template name is shown with the creator’s name in brackets. When you attempt to edit the saved template without changing the template name, the following error is displayed:
Template with <template_name> name already exists. Please, choose another one.
Note
Creating, editing, and deleting templates is available only to QA Admins of the your account. However, only the user who originally created a dashboard or template can edit templates.
